Mystic, Connecticut, is a shoreline community nestled along the Mystic River, halfway between New York City and Boston. Whether you're joining us from New York or flying in from around the world, we want to make it as easy (and fun) as possible for you to organize your trip to Mystic.
We're currently in the process of securing the room block at Delamar Mystic and nearby hotels, so keep your ears perked and tails up—we'll share the details with you in due time.
Feel free to explore other hotels, inns, or Airbnbs in the area—Mystic has plenty of great options at a range of price points, all close to the Delamar. (We've curated a list of potential Airbnb options here that are nearby.)
In the meantime, you can read on below for some travel tips and suggested itineraries as you think about your plans a year from now.

Stay tuned — we'll be suggesting train times and hotel options to make planning easy!

Want to stretch your legs or add some variety? Here are a few detours and day trips that pair beautifully with the road trip above.
Plymouth, MA : Visit the Mayflower II, step into early American history at Plimoth Patuxet, and stroll the harbor where it all (sort of) began.
Buzzards Bay / New Bedford, MA: Maritime charm with fewer crowds. Don’t miss the Whaling Museum and fresh oysters by the waterfront.
Watch Hill, RI: A quiet, upscale beach town with Victorian vibes, boutique shops, and ocean views. Yes, that’s the Taylor Swift house on the bluff.
Portsmouth, NH (northern detour): A walkable harbor town full of galleries, breweries, and colonial history. Feels like Boston’s relaxed cousin.
The Hamptons, NY: Chic beach towns with shingled houses, farmers markets, and understated luxury. Stop in East Hampton or Sag Harbor for boutiques and coastal charm. Great if you have an extra few days after NYC and want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.
Montauk, NY: End-of-the-line surf town with ocean views, a historic lighthouse, and a more laid-back vibe than its Hamptons neighbors.
We’ll publish the full website with all the details later this year. In the meantime, please Save our Date, start thinking about your itinerary, apply for visas (if needed) and keep an eye on this page for updates!
